Worker Dates and Times Available
Volunteers who work 10 hrs. attend a workers sale at  6pm on Sat., July 31  &  shop 1/2 price on Thurs., Aug. 5, 4pm.  Worker's  are not charged the $8.50 fee. Snacks and drinks are provided while you work your shift. You may work (2) 5 hr. shifts, (1) 10 hr. shift or equivalent. Due to the nature of this business (consignors and customers waiting to be checked in/out), we heavily rely on everyone to show up for the shift they sign up for, if for any reason you cannot fulfill your obligation, please find a replacement AND  contact Lisa on her cell phone @ 512-4579 immediately. For those who do not show up or send a replacement, we will have to charge you $7.00 per hour to  pay someone else to replace you. (We have a couple of people on stand by - to work for extra money).  However, they are not always available; therefore, we really need you and depend on you if you sign up.  Looking forward to working with you again!!
Over the years I've learned that volunteers perform best and are happiest doing what they like to do.
Consider this when you sign up. Types of volunteers needed:
Checkers: I prefer those who have checked before but LOVE training new workers. Checkers need to be friendly, love communicating with people, strict with what Sugar Babies can and cannot accept, pays attention to detail as to not let items through that are not of high quality.
In need of great checkers to keep great quality.  Please sign up if you are willing to do this for us.
Those Putting Away: Pays attention to detail as items need to be placed in specific locations in order to sell best, likes to organize as I often need help when things begin to get disorganized of out of control.
Desk: This is typically reserved for those who are pregnant or have an injury.  This person also needs to pay close attn. to detail, love communicating with the public, be great with office type duties.
Floor Organizer: Likes to move around (doesn't like to be confined), loves to work alone, loves to organize and keep things looking great. I really need someone working the tables, items on the floor to maintain a great, organized look because items sell well this way. 
Floor Manager: This person loves to manage and doesn't mind asking children to stay with their parents, keeping big items on the floor straight & neat.  This person needs to be friendly and love helping the public.  Many times you will be asked to help find something etc.
Cashiers: Accountable, Good with math.....able to correctly make change, good with detail, loves people, friendly.
Tag Remover: Friendly, good with detail, likes to check people out but doesn't want to handle money or credit card transactions.
Card Organizer: loves working alone, good with detail, likes to sort and file
Breakdown workers: likes to work alone a lot but willing to work together when time to do so., likes to sort, likes to work without the public,
likes to work in a very chilled out environment.  Often we all have a fun, crazy time together.
Cleaners: Likes to set up/take down equipment, doesn't mind cleaning equipment, sweeping, mopping, cleaning tables, etc.
Door Manager:  If working presale night, ensures everyone has a pass.  This person needs to be very good with detail (checking tickets), etc.,
watching for security reasons, friendly, likes to greet people.
Every effort will be made to place you doing what you want, however, if the requested  positions are full I may need you to do another job.
